Among all the exercise programs that are out there, the ones that have worked have been fashioned around the Pilaties system. This is a training program that is named after the creator of it. This has been considered to be the most complete training program that has ever been developed.

The basis of the Pilaties format has been altered in many ways by others that have wanted to make a profit off of it. Some have even put it to music or to a regime that has been centered around a more appealing style so that the person is more eager to perform the exercises that will not only get them fit, but also:

- become more energetic

The Pilaties program has been used by almost every training format that is in existence. This is something that just validates that the Pilaties system is the best that there is to date. This is a boast that many would like to take credit for, yet none can without paying tribute to this training regime.

Some have seen the Pilaties as a means of getting rid of excess weight, yet this is something that more should learn to appreciate with the course of the training that has been all originated by the Pilaties format.

This was a program that was developed in the early 1900's and took over a year to properly develop with a huge staff at the service of Dr. Pilaties in making a program that would be complete. This program was so complete that it has still to meet its equal in the entire world. The exercise program was of such a nature that the full capabilities of the program were not appreciated until after the doctor has passed away.

There are many that think Pilaties is up in the heavens smiling that his creation has not only been appreciated, but also become the icon of exercise programs. There are few in the world that can make a workout that doesn't draw something from this doctor's program.

Many consider the late doctor to be the father of exercise programs that actually work for the person that is willing to put forth the effort to getting in shape and being healthy.
